Each year we are challenged to close the “tuition gap,” the difference between our tuition fees and the actual cost of education. The cost is approximately $1,000 per student. As we strive to keep our quality Catholic education affordable for all families, we look to the communities we faithfully serve for support. Please help us reach our $250,000 goal.
Contributions to the Annual Fund Support:
Our Excellent Faculty
Through experience and innovation our teachers provide an outstanding education that prepares today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges. Your gift to the Annual Fund promotes excellence in teaching by investing in professional development and competitive compensation for our faculty and staff.
Our Excellent Academic Programs
Students develop to their fullest potential through academic programs designed to meet their individual needs. The Annual Fund supports technology upgrades that facilitate visual and collaborative learning and ongoing course development to prepare students for an ever-changing world.
Our Excellent Co-Curriculum
We are committed to providing opportunities for strong personal and spiritual growth. Your support allows KCHS to offer a broad variety of experiential learning activities, including: athletics, clubs, experiential activities, and campus ministry.
The Annual Fund not only provides support for current needs, notably completing the $250,000 wireless campus transition and resulting Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative, but also builds a reserve for future growth. The following capital and program needs can become a reality through a consistently successful Annual Fund:
- Auditorium: To continue to build our Performing Arts program, KCHS must have an auditorium with a choral room, band room and dance studio! ($4 million)
- Auxiliary Gym: To accommodate growing volleyball, basketball, cheerleading and dance programs. ($1.5 million)
- Faculty Salaries: An increase in faculty salaries would allow us to retain our excellent teachers. Our pay scale is below that of Knox County.
