<p>Class of 2014: We need to revote for prom committee. Stop by the voting table during your lunch today.</p>
<p>There will be a mandatory lacrosse club meeting today after school in the cafeteria.</p>
<p>Birthday wishes go out to Tia Knight, Maggie MacKenzie, Logan Trupovnieks, Brandon Morgan and Alvaro Ayo-Laporte,  who are celebrating their birthdays today.</p>
<p>Calling all St. Mary&#8217;s School alums: On Sunday, May 20, join us at the St. Mary&#8217;s Youth Building from 1:00-2:30 p.m. to say farewell to Mrs. Cathy Lowden and Mrs. Karen Maston as they prepare to leave St. Mary&#8217;s School at the end of this year. Light refreshments will be served.</p>
<p>Students who plan to take the driver&#8217;s permit test this summer need to sign up for the required 1010 Attendance Form in the front office before <strong>Tuesday, May 22</strong>.</p>
<p>Students: If you have prescription medicine and/or Epi-pens in the front office, please stop by to pick up your medications before <strong>Tuesday, May 22</strong>.  All medicine is discarded as soon as the school year closes.</p>
<p>The Lady Irish Tennis Team is playing a sectional match today against Dobyns Bennett high school at Cedar Bluff Racquet Club at 4:15 p.m. With a win, the team advances to the State Tennis Tournament. Please come out to the team and cheer them onto victory.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Congratulations to the Knoxville Catholic Latin students who competed in the Tennessee Junior Classical League Convention on April 13,2012 in Murfreesboro. The 24 KCHS students were joined by over 800 other Latin students from more than 35 schools from across the state for a day of fun and competition in the spirit of the Roman world.  Students took academic tests in ten different categories, competed in costume contests, a Mythology Spelling Bee, English oratory, Latin oratory, essay and poetry contests, skit and graphic arts competitions.</p>
<p>Knoxville Catholic finished third overall in their division this year. KCHS also finished 1<sup>st</sup> in the banner competition, 1<sup>st</sup> for spirit (<strong>Rhett Dunlap), </strong>1<sup>st</sup> for scrapbook (<strong>Kerry Campbell, Danielle Rosenzweig</strong>), 2<sup>nd</sup> in Intermediate Certamen <strong>(Corey Patton, Peter Ponce, Rebecca Dietz, Ben Nadolsky),</strong> 2<sup>nd</sup> place in the Toga Relay <strong>(</strong><strong>Brent Cooper, Tanner Hamil, Elliott Allen, Zach Gee)</strong>, 3<sup>rd</sup> place for the chariot race <strong>(Evan Nelson, Henry Norris, Rhett Dunlap, Patrick McFall, Charlie Simmins</strong><strong>), </strong>and 1<sup>st</sup> place for skits (<strong>Brent Cooper, Ashley Gensheimer, Sarah Parsly, Zach Gee, Danielle Rosenzweig, Charlie Simmins, Evan Nelson, Kerry Campbell, Tanner Hamil, Patrick McFall.)</strong></p>
