The 2009 Lady Irish golfers, Juniors Alec Cunningham and Alex Lowe, capped their season by winning the district. Cunningham was medalist, shooting a six over par 78. The girls finished a winning season with a record of 22-7-1.
The boys’ golf team was led by Seniors Jack Gillespie, Patrick Gilmartin, and Nick Willenborg. The Fighting Irish placed second in both the district and regional tournaments, with a winning record of 29-7-0, including two wins over rival Webb.
