Midway through the 2009-2010 season the Lady Irish have a record of 8-8. The Lady Irish have victories over Anderson County, Carter, Karns, South Doyle, and William Blount (the team's first district win.) The team is especially proud of a win over rival Webb-the first since the 2001 season.
The future is bright for the Lady Irish with a young varsity squad including freshmen Catherine Holland, Clare Conaty, Bianca Andre, and Erin Kenny, and junior Amanda Cutting. Rounding out the line-up are top reserves Angela Bryson, Kathleen Conaty, Carolyn Williamson, Rachel Dunn, and Tara Hoover.
