Irish baseball enjoyed an excellent 2007 season – finishing strong with the most regular season wins, 21, and making a run for the state tournament.
- Senior pitcher Adam Ponzurick finished 9-2 with a 1.91 ERA.
- Sophomore Dalton Irwin boasted a .480 average and nine homeruns. Irwin was named district MVP.
- Senior Trey Washington had a great season with eight homeruns, 28 RBI and a mid-season average of .410.
- Senior Ryan Greer (Captain) batted .450 this season.
- Seniors Mark Olberding and Andy Jarnagin had averages near .400 this year.
