To Our KCHS Families,

Greetings from Knoxville Catholic! As we approach the homestretch of Spirit Week, I want to send out a big thank you to our students and staff for the awesome participation that we have seen thus far.  Colors Wars, Junior Olympics, Theme Day have all gone great to this point. People often ask, how do you get all of the kids to participate?  The simple answer is, we don’t know, they just do!

As we approach the weekend and homecoming and the community tailgate, we do pause to pray for all of the folks in the Carolina’s that are bracing for Hurricane Florence. I’ll never forget exactly 19 years ago today, when Jeni and I along with Jack, who was only three days old (he was born on 9/9/99) had to evacuate Charleston, SC, due to Hurricane Floyd. It was quite an adventure and fortunately, the damage was very minimal back then.  This storm apparently has the potential for unprecedented damage. Please continue to pray for all of the communities who might be affected.
